My Family in Iowa

It had been about two years since my last visit to America. I went home for a week at the end of April. After arriving in Des Moines, I went out to my parents' house. They were so great, and had invited my family from southern Iowa out to the house for a little get together. It was really. They ordered a bunch of barbecue. We had brisket and pulled pork.

My family in South Dakota

On the second day of my trip, we loaded up the cars and drove out to South Dakota to see my dad's side of the family. On the way out to Aberdeen to see my Grandma and aunts and uncles, we stopped by Sioux Falls to see my South Dakota cousins and their families. In Aberdeen, we spent some nice family time and took my nephews out to Story Book Land. It was very nostalgic; my parents used to take me there when we were kids.
